Restoration and Monitoring
As part of the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement, Maryland and Virginia committed to the ambitious goal of restoring 5 tributaries in each state by 2025. These efforts are implemented and coordinated by a group of state and federal agencies along with non-profits, universities and watershed groups that contribute to planning, reef construction, and oyster production in support of the 10 tributary restoration goal.
